Thanks to AI, I’m able to write so much software now that I was like — frig it, I need a blog.

What I’m working on

I have a lot going on. Here’s the rundown:

• Full-time gig — I work for a software consulting firm, and that takes the majority of my time
• Two mobile apps — because apparently one side project is never enough
• A quant trading desk — for prediction markets and futures markets
• A small consulting firm — Commonwealth Systems
• Husband and father — yusssssir

2, 3 and 4 I have just started within the last 45 days.

On AI and writing code

I’m a software engineer, but I use AI for the vast majority of my code writing nowadays. I have a Claude Max subscription and it feels super dangerous. I never thought i’d be paying $100 bucks a month for a subscription but at the same time it feels cheap. I’ve given up my intellij license and use something called antigravity now. I did have a google ai account but their pricing very bizarre, I got a pro account that includes some gemini but not gemini pro or any api credits but more gmail storage. So I got rid of it.

What to expect

Not much honestly, as seen from above, a lot of stuff going on.
